What is important
Teaching is my passion. |
Teaching has always been my passion. As a young child I preferred stationery to dolls, and even before I knew how to print I was teaching my stuffed animals. It is because of my deep devotion toward teaching that I have seized opportunities to work with children for many years. Through my teaching experiences, I have discovered that this profession takes much more than the ability to explain things well. It takes fostering development, implementing differentiated instruction, and executing authentic assessment. My confidence in putting these philosophies into practice has reinforced my enthusiasm for being an educator. Reflecting on my days dreaming about what it would be like to be a “teacher”, I feel my experiences continue to exceed my highest expectations.

teaching as a calling. |
To teach means to choose a calling that is full of many rewards and many challenges. I want to teach my students to have the determination to overcome any obstacle and to readily accept challenges and unfamiliar learning opportunities. It is my goal to provide students with life long learning experiences that they can use for all life’s experiences that God guides them through.
